After thirty-three plus years of practicing dentistry, medical technology, bookkeeping and homeschooling three sons, Susan and I have been led to redirect our remaining healthy years to the area of passion that was born on a trip to Haiti in the late ’80′s. The flames of that passion were fanned by many one week trips to Jamaica and Mexico over the ensuing years. That passion centers around the ravages of extreme poverty and its effect on orphaned and helpless children. We know that God’s heart hurts for the plight of the helpless and the fatherless just like ours does and we feel an urgent need to be a part of His plan to build His kingdom. We were drawn to LSM’s mission in Ethiopia to bring children into loving families and to rescue helpless victims of exploitation. The bottom line…It is NOT about us.
